    PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program)

PSP is the FMCSA report showing a CDL driver's 5-year crash history and 3-year roadside inspection history.

The Pre-Employment Screening Program is an FMCSA service that gives carriers access to a CDL driver's federal safety record before hiring. A PSP report shows the last 5 years of reportable crashes and 3 years of roadside inspections (with violations and out-of-service findings).

PSP requires written driver authorization. It's not legally mandatory to pull (unlike the Clearinghouse query and MVR), but most insurers won't underwrite a driver without it, and carriers that pull PSP have ~8% lower crash rates per FMCSA studies.
